Walks On Food #2 : Fine Dining in Ipoh @ CItrus Wine & DIne

*A late update post

Celebrated my 22nd birthday at a fine dining restaurant serving western cuisine-> Citrus Wine & Dine. Big thanks to Fiona, my sista for planning the dinner.

One of Ipohrian's favorite restaurant serving western food.

Pan Seared Salmon with Dill Cream Sauce (RM27) Light pan grilled Salmon fillet served along with Asparagus, Broccoli and Cherry Tomatoes. Garnished with slices of Black Olive and chopped onions, sprinkled with dash of black peppers.

For fish lovers like me, I ordered a Pan Seared Salmon because I am a big fan of Salmon! The thick slice of Salmon grilled to perfection and served with a colorful side salad of wild greens, keeping much of the flavor. Succulent, juicy, crunch on the outside and soft in the inside. Served along with the sauce, it taste real good. It does not have any fishy smell because it is freshly cooked.
Salmon is rich in Omega -3 fatty acids and it is in the category of "meaty fish". By the way, grilled salmon is usually enjoyed immensely bu meat lovers *although I am not a meat lover*, I love my favorite plate so much. You might think that the serving portion is small and not filling enough. But once you are about to finish the dish, you will feel full as the dish is really filling enough for girls like me.
 Wild Mushroom Soup (RM8.50)

Emilie started off with wild mushroom soup, the soup is thick and creamy, served along with their freshly baked soft grain bread. You can feel the mushroom bits too. I personally like the texture of the soup after trying a spoonful of the delicious soup which suited my taste bud.

3-Way Chicken (RM35)-A medley of  Roasted Chicken Thigh with Smoked Duck, Yakitori Chicken and Lemongrass Chicken.

Gywen had her 3-Way Chicken which consisting of three different way in making up the chicken. The meat is tender and juicy enough. It is best recommended for meat lovers.

Kah Yin's main dish of the night. Forgotten the name but this is a chicken plate.
Emilie's main dish of the night. Forgotten the name but it is a chicken dish as well. Topped with fried lasagna pieces. Served along with chopped carrots and vegetables.
Yiin's 3-way Lamb.
Fiona's mushroom chicken plate.
Saki's Spaghetti Carbonara (RM22)-A traditional Italian dish with chopped garlic, onion, mushrooms, beef bacon in creamy sauce and Parmesan cheese.

Charmaine's Aglio Olio with Sliced Tenderloin (RM26)

Dessert Symphony (RM18) - Combination of Warm Choc Cake, Citrus Baked Cheese Cake, Brownies & Vanilla Ice-Cream.

A dessert plate which you have to wait for 10minutes upon ordering. It is always serve for birthday girls/boys. Personally prefer the warm choc cake, the outer part was crunchy while the inner is filled with warm choc *thumbs up*. It is best suit for my liking as it is not overly sweet. The brownies bring disappointment as the cake was hard and taste not fresh. The cheesecake was nice with a thin crunchy cookie crumbs on the bottom.
