Luxurious Affair at CHARRIOL's Malaysia Flagship Boutique Grand Opening!

The world-renowned iconic luxury brand has finally made it's way into Malaysia luxury door, Starhill Gallery. It is an honour to be invited to attend Charriol's official launch of it's new-concept flagship boutique in Malaysia.

"Charriol is a family-owned and operated international luxury brand that specializes in fine Swiss timepieces, jewelry, and accessories. It was founded in 1983 by Philippe Charriol in Geneva and currently distributed globally having 3,000 retailers, 485 corners and 99 boutiques. "

Mr.Philippe Charriol is the founder & owner of CHARRIOL, who first use gold cable/steel cable as a decorative motif and as a watch bracelet. 

I was late for almost an hour coz caught in the mad traffic in KL city itself. Well, that's the traffic's norm on weekdays in KL itself. Luckily managed to reach Starhill before the event started and dropped my name card for lucky draw. Oh well, just trying my luck!

Charriol also have a range of perfumes/fragrances cater to both women & men. The round bottles on the left is EDT/EDP for women while the classic square on the right is for the gents. 

Here's 2 of my favorite: (Left) Show-Off, the latest Eau de Toilette for women by Charriol. It smells fresh, fruity and exuberant blackcurrant, speaks of delicate and elegant with peach velvet. The round and feminine bottle sparkled femininity with its delicate violet hues and precious floral essence of violet absolute, lotus blossom extract and rose petals.
(Right) Le Eau De Parfum of sophisticated radiance for an exceptional fragrance. The luxuriant fragrance is rich and indulging, made with its best essence of juniper berry, orange blossom, vanilla orchid and tonka bean. Simply loves the soft woody scent, classic with a modern twist!

Charriol's watch collection consist of several distinct lines with 18kt gold or steel models. They are the Actor, Alexadre, Colvmbvs, Rotonde, St.Tropez and Parisii.

It was indeed a surprising evening getting to know that both PR agency and Charriol's staff was my university coursemate! A happy mini reunite of UTAR PR mates!

First time in 24years of living, I had this luck on me where I was announced as the Grand Prize winner for the lucky draw at the launch walking away with RM2,000 cash voucher from CHARRIOL Geneve. Redeemed a full leather bucket bag from Charriol's boutique on the spot! Have always wanted a Bucket Bag for casual outing and finally got one from Charriol, comes with a certificate! Big thanks to Charriol and the PR team!

'Postcards From' : Olivia Rubin X Dorothy Perkins

Two days back, I got an email from Dorothy Perkins on a new collection by London's famous designer, Olivia Rubin. I got attracted with the shocking pink hair on the model following with the bird print dresses. Yes, mad loving SS12 print dresses especially bird prints! Been looking around and finally something nice hit the door.

Being miles away from the UK, I know it will be hard to grab hold on the latest pieces by DP but fret not for now! I am lucky to be the first to shop before their official launch on their website *jumps* *laughs*.

DP introducing 'Postcards From', a new collection which was inspired by Olivia's memories of summer holidays. Olivia is famed for her gorgeous graphic prints and this season's collection is all about holiday-themed shell and tropical bird motifs in soft neutral shades mixed with punchy highlights of her favorite shocking pink. The shell and bird prints are bold but playful while classic cuts and shades of pink keep the range soft and feminine- the perfect addition to your spring wardrobe.

Speaking of which, I fall for the pink bird maxi dress which is a must have for this season! Even though its a limited edition collection at DP, the prices are surprisingly affordable! Hop over to the nearest outlet if you are in the UK, you would not want to miss out such awesome collection, don't cha? Of all, I can't stop staring at this sweet piece. It is such a gorgeous bright pink maxi dress with bird prints, looking simple but with flattering designs.

Laura Mercier Spring 2012 Lingerie Collection

It's a girlish evening with most of the guests dressed in soft pink colors, to match the theme of the night-> "Romantic, Modern, Feminine". Rather, it is the introduction of Laura Mercier's Spring 2012 Lingerie Collection.

My pleasure to be invited to the Grand Opening of Laura Mercier at Sunway Pyramid and was introduced to Laura Mercier's Spring/Summer 2012 Lingerie Collection.

Lingerie Collection was inspired by soft romantic colors and delicate fabrics of the Victorian Age. The collection showcases a palette of colors inspired by Boudoir vintage lingerie interpreted the modernization of this feminine era. It creates ultra-feminine look by using warm corals and modern peaches for lips and cheeks while eyes are alluring in wonderful neutral browns and taupe greys. 

The new makeup collection features skin flattering colors and textures, placing a heavy accent on naturalness for this Spring 2012. It helps to achieve natural, flawless and playful look with a color clash of nude, pastel and dark hues.

The must haves in this season is none other than this cool palette giving you a defined romantic look.

Laura Mercier Spring 2012 Collection titled Lingerie is as feminine as makeup gets. A femininity evening with soft pink backdrop flushes in with ladies playing with makeups by Laura Mercier's professional makeup artists. It's a relaxing evening party of makeups, champagne, wine, canapes, chocolate truffles, pastries and mini quiches!  

The gorgeous and friendly top American MakeUp Artist, Jodi Riley was in town to introduce the new Spring 2012 collection. Jodi shared with us on makeup tips and did a demonstration. 

One of the professional and friendly makeup artist touching up my makeup, brushing on my lips was Kissed Lips (a limited edition of sheer lip color). Love this color so much as it created a soft sexy lips.
