Huawei's "Ascend To New Heights" Event

Remember I've blogged on Ascend to New Heights by Huawei last week? Here you go on what's happening during the 3 days event at Tasik Titiwangsa!

The on-ground event by Huawei is culminating its 'Ascend To New Heights' consumer activation campaign which took place at Tasik Titiwangsa from 21-23 December 2012. Huawei also launching 3 new smartphones and announced Midland Network Sdn Bhd as its latest partner to expand the distribution of Huawei smart devices in Malaysia at the official opening event last Friday.

Tang Siew Wai, Regional Marketing Director for Huawei Device Southern Pacific Region said, "The 'Ascend to New Heights' consumer campaign is an aggressive push towards extending awareness of the Huawei brand in Malaysia. We have organized many exciting activities from today and over the next two days."

He also added that, activities ranged from hot air balloon rides and jumpshot photography to interactive challenges like the Trampoline Jump and Racing Challenge. Consumer also can check out Huawei's latest portfolio of smartphones and devices at the Experience Zone.

Besides all the mentioned activities, the most interesting part was the prizes as Huawei offered over 2,000 prizes which inclusive of a Grand Prize -- an all-expense-paid trip for two to Dubai (comprising a 4D3N stay at a super 5-star luxury hotel with a helicopter tour of the city, exclusive tour of the tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Historical Tour and Desert Experience). The campaign is a significant milestone in the company's increasing push into the direct-to-consumer space.

Luxurious Affair at CHARRIOL's Malaysia Flagship Boutique Grand Opening!

The world-renowned iconic luxury brand has finally made it's way into Malaysia luxury door, Starhill Gallery. It is an honour to be invited to attend Charriol's official launch of it's new-concept flagship boutique in Malaysia.

I was late for almost an hour coz caught in the mad traffic in KL city itself. Well, that's the traffic's norm on weekdays in KL itself. Luckily managed to reach Starhill before the event started and dropped my name card for lucky draw. Oh well, just trying my luck!

It was indeed a surprising evening getting to know that both PR agency and Charriol's staff was my university coursemate! A happy mini reunite of UTAR PR mates!

First time in 24years of living, I had this luck on me where I was announced as the Grand Prize winner for the lucky draw at the launch walking away with RM2,000 cash voucher from CHARRIOL Geneve. Redeemed a full leather bucket bag from Charriol's boutique on the spot! Have always wanted a Bucket Bag for casual outing and finally got one from Charriol, comes with a certificate! Pizza Fest @ Aria Italian Dining, Damansara Height

Pittsa time! Was invited for a Pizza Fest at Aria Italian Dining, Bukit Damansara. Feels so excited as we get to make our own pizza creation (don't get me wrong, we only do the topping part.)

Oh dear, when comes to the location, I've got no idea where is that place as it's so hidden and my darn GPS (Guna Pun Sesat) could not locate it. Luckily, with the kind help from Ramesh, we managed to reach Aria before the event kicks off.

The place is hidden somewhere in the heart of Bukit Damansara and I like the simple concept of the restaurant, cosy and warm. It's a neighbourhood restaurant that offers warm and intimate setting for delighting in good food with family and friends. Aria carries the meaning of air/space or melody, not only does Aria serves good food but provide customers a comfortable dining environment to enjoy meal with soothing background music.

Fest your eyes with Pizza at Aria!

It's all about creativity and passion for good taste, the Pizza Fest aimed in producing original flavor of a pizza.  Fellow bloggers are required to create own pizza using various toppings, but limits up to 5 toppings only. All pizzas will then be judges and guest bloggers will get to vote for their favorite winning pizza. The winning pizza will then be named after the creator and placed in Aria's menu!

Great to land my hands on pizza again. It's been awhile since I last made pizza, missing the baking moments with Mom. Kudos to Mommy, creating this pizza at Aria makes me feel like making one at home. 

Voila! My creation (left): Cheesy Smoked Duck Pittsa! Created with 5 toppings: Onion, Pineapple, Mozzarella, Oregano and Smoked Duck. Guessed I've put too much of ingredients causing the outcome gone haywire. The right one was made by the Chef using the same ingredients that I've selected. 

The winning pizza was Ethan's creation: Cheesy Roasted Chicken Delight Pizza! Another winning pizza was by Malaysian Foodie's Pamela with her creation: MalaysianFooza Pizza. Congratulations to both winners.

Both winning pizza will be available in the menu starting on 21st Oct 2012-4th Nov 2012.

Below are the details of each winning pizza:
1. Cheesy Roasted Chicken Delight Pizza - Mozarella, Roasted Chicken, Mushroom, Pineapple, Rocket Leaves (RM25++). A delicious and very appetizing tender roasted chicken with a tangy twist that will make you crave for more.

2. MalaysianFooza Pizza - Pineapple, Roasted Duck, Turkey Ham, Mozzarella, Mushroom (RM28++). A creation from Malaysianfoodie.com which is delights with the Malaysian style and everyday favorites.

The regular price for the Pizza Fest is RM25nett per pizza (up to 3 toppings). Additional toppings cost between RM3nett & RM7nett.
